Arctic walkies!

We popped up to Orton to see how Jane is getting on, as she is our bubble buddy. The snow there is so much deeper than here! We had a lovely sunny walk up to the fell and there was amazing deep powder snow. It was hard walking as there weren’t many footprints to follow.
The dogs had a lovely time, they find the unusual conditions very exciting!
I made stuffed pancakes for supper for a change, Usually only have them once a year, but Rick Stein mentioned them on his Cornwall series and it seemed like a good idea for using up leftovers cheese sauce and gammon. I am really enjoying his series, almost like being there and there are a number of great food producers that I shall look up next time we go. Maybe in the spring....
