Hoar frost

We woke to freezing fog and wonderful hoar frost throughout the garden.

The fog persisted all day and it was very cold and dark. Apparently there was sunshine quite nearby. That's what we get for living in the river valley of the North Tyne! 

The roads in the village were very icy. I walked to the shop and back (twice because I forgot my mask the first time)!

I watched another episode of Spiral. 

Mum and I watched the first episode of Robson Green's Coast to Coast where he walks or cycles the length of Hadrian's Wall. It's quite a light weight programme, but the views were stunning and I saw a few people I know too.
