Tiger's Nob

My Dear Princess, Loulou and Fellows,

Today was Caro's birthday! And I remembered! And everything!

I think Caro had a nice day. Much of it was spent in Wellington getting her eyelashes eyelashed. Or whatever.

When she returned, I had wrapped up her presents and signed a card from the cats. The cats also got her a $200 gift certificate because they are such show-offs. Made my presents look like poo.

Thanks, cats.

Tiger and Loulou popped around in the afternoon with flowers. It was lovely to see them. They are on the verge of having two girl friends of Loulou coming to stay in their cottage. Which is fine. But we offered that they could stay here so they wouldn't be on top of T+L the whole time.

Loulou said it wouldn't be a big bother and she was happy to have them at the cottage. "It will be like a sleepover!" she said.

Thinking with my male brain, I wasn't sure how Tiger would feel about this. "Do YOU want to stay here instead?" I asked him.

"Ooh yes!" replied Loulou. "You could stay here for an evening and talk about your nob!"

I have NO idea where Tiger's nob came from.

Let me rephrase that.

I do not know why Loulou brought up Tiger's nob at this point.

Oh never mind.

So anyway. Nothing was decided. But we had a good laugh. And if Tiger and his nob want to visit us, the pair of them are more than welcome.

In the evening, I took Caro out for dinner at her favourite Thai place. This is not the one which does deliveries (Thai Kai) so this was a rare treat. Also, this one is right on the beach and it is called Thai Marina.

We had a nice time, and we decided to go for a stroll along the marina as the sun went down. I took a few photos.

And we got home in time to see the little girl hedgehog emerging from the hedge-hole! Because we were already sitting out there, she was quite happy, snorking her way through the cat food as Punky and Jasper looked on.

It was a lovely end to what I hope was a lovely birthday.
