Guernsey airport

This afternoon we decided to go shopping at the small family run supermarket by the airport. It has excellent local fish and meat departments and sells many locally grown vegetables too. We usually go there before the weekend.
Whilst there, we noticed that the daffodils were flowering around the very quiet airport. (Also in extras.) Tomorrow there are two flights from the island of Alderney, the flying time is about 20 minutes from there. The only other flight is the mail plane which arrives early in the morning.
It seemed strange looking at the airport building and we can’t actually imagine going anywhere these days. It is over a year since we left Guernsey. We didn’t visit any of the other islands last summer.
