Lyde (Day 2063)

A different kind of a day. I spent a while doing paperwork this morning while my beautiful wife was away off doing hoss things. When HV returned, we took the woofers for a wander at Lyde before lunch a home.
We then settled down on the couch and watched the live stream of Fongy's funeral. She arrived, in her rainbow coloured coffin, to the sounds of Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper". The perfect track for her, and it brought back memories for me of lying on the tattoo couch being stabbed (with love) whilst we both sang along to this tune and she tried to make me scream. I wrote some of my thoughts about Fongy in my previous blip, and although today was a sad occasion, I have found my thoughts randomly wandering to memories of her over the last couple of weeks, and my memories of her will always make me smile.

After the live stream was over, I needed to let my mind wander while I kept my hands busy with simple stuff, so I headed to the garage where (where my phone doesn't work) and spent time cutting up scrap copper into manageable lengths.
With the scrap pile a bit better organised, and my head clearer, it was time for HV to head off to work, and I took a trip to town to do a small job, and visit a potential customer who would like a bathroom replaced.

Catch ya later Fongy.
