Big Old Cactus

My sis in law who has lived for many years in Spain, tells me that in days of yore cactus grew where the householder dumped the ‘sewage’ from the house. Kind of made me look at these magnificent plants in a different way.

A few weeks ago on one of our walks we knicked a dod of this one. It’s now sitting in a wee pot at home and doing nicely. Just wondering if I need to slosh some ‘fertilizer’ in it to help it on its way? ;)
