The pig's new feet unfortunately came without Vibram soles, so didn't cope very well with the icy Hawkhill slope and even less well with the ice on the basketball court in Lochend Park. Fortunately his cheekbone coped with being landed on and there was plenty of ice around to wrap in a hanky to press against it, resulting in no visible bruise the following day.
