Freezing over

The River Avançon was partly frozen over today when I stopped to take a photo. It was lovely to see some green as it’s totally white we’re we live at the moment.

We’d driven down off the mountain to go to a few ‘non essential’ shops as tomorrow will be their last day of opening for awhile. It was quite busy as we weren’t the only ones to take advantage of this before the new rules come in. The roads were quite slippy with fresh snow as we drove back up.
