Almost Submerged?

This is one of my favourite trees at Trentham Gardens and it was strange to see the river water so close to its roots today! This is how far away the river should be.

We couldn't walk around the lake due to this flooding as the bridge a the far end was completely submerged.

We'd made plans to start clearing the house of stuff we have accumulated over the last 15 or so once my partner finished work. We started with the loft today. We had an initial look through everything and moved them into different areas of the space - to chuck, to take to the charity shop and to sort. I think it was a good start. We're very different people when it comes to this. I'm a complete hoarder and he's so minimalist. SO it doesn't always go so easily!

It was virtual camera club tonight. We've been trying to think of ways to keep ourselves amused and informed while we' re still unable to meet in person. One idea was to find fun, inspirational and informative videos online to share with the rest of the group and then have a chat about them. It seemed to go down quite well.
