Nearly Dark in the Forest

.... when a bit of movement betrayed the presence of the herd of woodland chamois. Suddenly the lack of light was an advantage and they could not see me properly, allowing me to approach, in near silence, on the wet leaves. The constant rain of today had turned to snow so the chamois seemed intent on eating what they could before the food was completely covered. The extra is of the youngest member of the herd with his, or her, tiny horns.

Thank goodness for Olympus’ fantastic anti shake mechanism at low speed and light!

Have a good weekend everyone, hope you see a bit of sunshine at least.
