The Silk House

The bread stall that I use on the market is closed cos of covid. So this morning I legged it to the same companies shop. This took me to a part of the city I used to be very familiar. The pink house in the left of the photo is The Silk House. It took me into a morning of fascinating exploration that I'd not previously been aware of. Queen Phillipa the wife of Edward 3rd ( 1400 )brought Flemish Silk weavers to Norwich, so thriving industry was developed. Here's a link for those who like to know more :
