Down By The Bigger Lake.
I knew it was going to be hot today, so we went out early.
I took a backpack (which Isabella insisted on wearing!), with hats, drinks, baby wipes etc.
We went for a bit of a walk, then the girls wanted to go to the play park. They spent a bit of time there playing together and then playing with a little boy.
But then it started to get busy so we left. I wiped the girls hands thoroughly after we left and then gave them a good wash when we got home.
This is because there have been a few stomach bugs going around. And they think it's because of the children playing in the parks.
Obviously, the council are not cleaning them as often as they did!!
Anyway, it was getting quite hot by then, so time to go home and play in the pool.
I filled the two pools up and put them in the shade. And they played for ages. I left them alone, and only looked out when it got a bit quiet. to see what they were up to.
When they came in they had some lunch. Then Isabella sat down with some pens and paper and practiced her writing. She said she was doing her homework.
They also spent a lot of time playing with play doh. They kept making me various foods. Isabella said hers was fruit salad, with onions and peas. Nice!!
A long game of Snakes and Ladders, before Daddy came. Where nobody won, as we kept going down the snakes. Mia was in charge of throwing the dice. At least it got her involved, as she's still a bit young to play the game.
