Assignment

I took this today as part of an assignment for the flower photography course that I am taking.  It was taken with the Lensbaby Velvet 56, wide open, which gives that extreme glow.  It's probably not to everyone's taste and I really wish I had left some negative space below the vase, but this is all I've got.  

Anyway, it kept me occupied and away from the TV so I didn't watch them turn our beautiful city into an armed camp.  Necessary but very distressing.
