Today it snowed
and snowed and snowed.
We only walked locally because the roads would have been a nightmare. because with our village being on a hill top going in or out requires hills up or down and by the looks of the local ones it was pretty hazardous, I live at the bottom of 2 hills. I know from later reports the road up from Castleford known as Mary Panel Hill had cars all over the place, and Butt Hill which is another hill up is quite steep with a sharp bend and that was impassable for a lot of the day, But Molly and I enjoyed our little walk, Tanzy went with Paula. Tanzy did enjoy playing snowball catching in the garden.
The photos are Molly on our walk and Tanzy in the garden, the top middle was Molly and my walk and the bottom is taken from the conservatory door. Later the snow came down off the roof on to the step and it took us ages to get the door open but we managed it and then cleared the snow.
I see a lot of people had this snow as well. but they showed on the TV people snowballing in the park with no social distancing at all.
I carried on in my kitchen washed the other curtains, and generally cleaned the windows and frames and rearranged things then put the curtains back up. I did think one set of curtains need shortening but I have got them up now and don't feel like taking them down again. A very productive day.
I think a rest tomorrow, and hope the snow goes a bit by afternoon because Mark and the girls are calling after school to pick up Autumns Birthday presents, her birthday is Monday. We will have to meet outdoors of course, social distancing, but at least I get to see them.
