Grey on Gray
I'm afraid some days are just like this. Very gray. And also grey.
I took some silly photos of the cat as well, but in the end this shot I took of Echo Lake on the way home is a more accurate reflection of the day.
To liven the post up a bit I will include a snippet of poetry, with one caveat: it might suggest I hold some strong religious sensibility that I actually do not. Even so, I liked it, and it's better than the photo, so...

One gray day, I was alive on this earth,
And amid the mist of day -- in triumph --
The Spirit may approach and look
So that you will see Him, without seeing.
And, so, celebrate the meager light,
Curse not the twilight.
If Christ is to visit us
It will be on such pitiful days as these.
