Slumbers in the sunshine

A change of direction in our walk this afternoon, we walked along the river to the mill and back along the top route. We met a male walking colleague whom we didn’t see at all last year so it was good to have a chat. The ducks were having a snooze on the river.  A good two hour walk, a bit more chilly than my hour in the garden this morning when I pruned my first rose and started the winter clear up. Good to hear that over 2.9 million people have had their first COVID vaccine.
