Oops, how did that happen
Today didn't start the way we expected. Colin had been in severe pain overnight and so we were sent to the acute receiving unit at the Western this morning. He was admitted and I spent much of the day on the phone and taking things in to him.
I had heard that things were different but it still seemed strange handing him over at A & E. Fortunately I was able to speak to him and to staff over the day and after a scan it appears to be a Kidney infection. Hopefully all will be straightforward and intravenous antibiotics will sort things put quickly.*
When home I did a wonderful job of cleaning out the utility room, washing everything in sight and hoovering anything that didn't move!
Today's blip is one of the beautiful roses that Kathryn gave me at the weekend.
Keep well and safe everybody. The vaccine isn't coming as quickly as we would hope but there is news of m-in-l getting hers next week so that's good.
*for those who haven't heard, he got home safely on Saturday, all well
