1. An early meeting that involves the opportunity to purchase those jumbo meringues that are the size of a babies head out of Carrucio's.

2. The meeting itself is pretty cool and literally the closest I have come to a Disney princess.

3. As trip organiser I am delighted to have 7 colleagues with me for Douglas' A Play, A Pie and A Pint. I had heard it was good and by god it didn't disappoint. All of us - how ever many hundred of us - laughed more or less solidly for 40 minutes.

4. After work we stop off quickly in the CCA for a swift nod to Friday night and an admiring glance up the hill at the Art School Crane.

5. Friday fizz and a fantastic chain that starts with the Pogues and ends with the Muppets. As all good chains should.
