Standing in the cold

Really cold again and the snow had turned to ice.I braved the weather and stood and watched the sunrise, beautiful and peaceful.
Later I spotted two deer in the field.They walked half way up and then spotted someone going to collect one of the horses and they ran back down to the fence where I managed to get a few photos. I noticed the younger one the other side of the fence, it still has not learnt how to leap it. Every time I took a step forward the ice cracked under my feet and they all looked round at me .
We had a goldcrest in the pine tree again, so tiny and quick.
We had an allotment AGM via zoom which worked really well and was finished by 7.45pm , we started at 7.30pm and there was no cost for Hall hire.Mike is now on the Committee, they twisted his arm as they need more men on there as there’s only one other male member. Everyone is nice so there should be any problems.
Watched The Repair Shop and then the last of The Pembrokeshire murders.
The Covid numbers are really shocking and upsetting with over 1,500 deaths. We know now several people with it so wishing them a speedy recovery !
