Cardinal red

The sky was beautiful and clear tonight and I took several photos, all of which I was very pleased with.

However, driving through Morningside I came across a media frenzy outside Cardinal O'Brien's house. Apparently he was in but not up for a wee chat with the press.

I was, and I got talking to one photographer, who mistook me and my little Lumix for the founder of blipfoto. Flattering - unless he was referring to facial hair and cycling shorts.

He told me that loads of reporters are blippers - so there you go, Joe.

The girl on the left had the right idea.
