Hello..!

We bought this amaryllis before Christmas from Lidl. It’s grown and has two stems and buds. Yesterday one bud began to open and today there is a flower. Different from the big red blooms of the cut blooms given to us for Christmas. I like this softer version.

I’ve been at my sewing machine for lots of the day. Jenny’s gift has sort of evolved. I didn’t have a pattern, and the gift could have several uses! I may share it tomorrow.
