Anyone got a brolly? #20

Slept really well, both of us :-) I didnt even wake up when hub got up to go the bathroom.....I was really tired though ;-)

Woke up to a dark dismal rainy day..... breakfast in bed. Cornflakes, yogurt & bananas on toast for hub, fruit & yogurt for me. Hub lazed a while whilst I showered and did my hair.....was pleased to see him up and dressed by the time Id dried my hair :-)

Downstairs the right side of midday......washer on, then coffee & a slice of cake. Noticed Mr Bb here looking in on us, despite getting soaked through....dont think he was too impressed though !!

Not been out at all today......well other than into the garage for something from the chest freezer! We spent the afternoon sorting out the straight edges of one of our new jigsaws, "Canal Cottage". Chose it as it reminded me of my mum & dads cottage on the canal, complete with narrowboat :-) we now have the outline. Hub enjoyed doing it...hes been back to it this evening to, a little corner has started to take shape ;-)

Dinner tonight was a chicken bacon & pasta bake...quick and easy, followed by fruit and good ol artic roll for hub, despite him having a bit of tooth ache :-/ he enjoyed it! Need to check with the nurse that the toothache isnt going to get in the way of his next chemo.
Hubs been prety good again today :-) daughter popped round with some sensydine toothpaste, hopefully that will do the trick!

Neighbour opposite came in late afternoon, masked up to help me with the loft ladder, all xmas decs now back up there for another 11 months! Neighbour nextdoor knocked on with a supply of chocolate that I had asked her to pick up for me next time she was shopping... she doubled up on everything, so hub was very happy with that :-)

We need to replace our mains connected smoke detectors ......been checking safety measures as we have oxygen cylinders in the house. I also ordered two new light fittings for the hall & landing, they came today, really pleased with them.

Not really watched much tv this evening, hubs watched quite a few episodes of various sci fi stuff he likes though.

Spoken to both sons today.......youngest is having trouble sleeping as is daughter :-(
Not surprising really with everything that is going on, they do all talk though, which is good.
