Staying Local

Less than 5 miles from home is Dalby. So we felt this was acceptable for a change of scenery. 

Jet is permitted a short walk on the lead and the paths in Dalby are less slippery and steep than the local walks. The sample showed a low level of kidney disease but given his age nothing life threatening. So he can now start his course of anti inflammatory medicine to help his limp. He is still his usual enthusiastic self and we hope this continues for some time.

So here we have a close up of one of the Lumber jills which mark the start and finish of our walk. Only four people passed on route.
