Friend or Foe?

I had a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers in my yard a few years ago.  I assumed they had a nest nearby, and supplemented their diet with my feeder suet.  Today, I encountered these two males on my walk.  I didn't notice aggressive behavior, but they did follow each other up and down the tree.  Apparently in the winter, they are not as territorial as they will be as mating season approaches.  It's always a treat to see one, and two was an extra bonus.
