Hurrying Spring along

Today on my lunch break I could not muster the enthusiasm for another walk around the block for my #onehouroutside especially given that it was the greyest and most miserable of January days.

Instead I spent a lovely hour in the garden, tidying up a bit of the winter debris and starting to get ready for Spring, including a little bit of early planting. Basically I'm just determined to somehow hurry along the arrival of Spring. I ordered a few seeds online but mostly tomatoes because they are really the only thing I can grow with any level of success. I was also reminded by my Sister-in-Law about Animal, Vegetable, Miracle which she has just finished. I read it in one big chunk last time, so might follow it by season this time around.

I've done my back in doing the garden. I guess this really is old age.
