Japanese Laurel

Today will live long in my memory ..... after about 6 weeks of phone problems and two previous visits from Openreach all is now sorted.

The weather was awful but the three guys worked like trojans for over 6 hours, pulling a new cable under the road and my driveway and then fixing it to the pole before connecting to the house. Hole filled and Hellebore replanted .... all in the rain.

Finally, as a special favour, one of the guys, sorted the sockets in the hall and reconnected my alarm so I no longer have my phone residing in my back bedroom.

I’ve been nowhere today ..... too wet and I was too busy watching, from inside, what was going on outside. This laurel is growing beside my neighbours’ wall .... flash needed as it was so dull.
