Greeting the Sunrise!

We were on our way to do our Wednesday “Click & Collect” when we noticed the imminent sunrise. So we wasted no time in tucking the shopping Ito the car boot and whizzed off to the Kelpies. We walked down and arrived pretty well just in time.
A couple of the canal boats were occupied before the New Year but they all seem empty now. Not sure I would like to live in a narrow boat in the middle of winter.
Back home and the groceries all tidied away, we got on with the usual daily routine. Later, a walk down the wood to replenish our bird feeders has left Chloe well exercised and she is now snoozing contentedly. She woke us up at 4.30 this morning, crying and whimpering. No obvious reason, maybe just a wee canine nightmare perhaps. Just hope there isn’t a reprise tonight!
