Snapping the lid off this mango juice was a pretty good metaphor for my day, really. It felt really rubbish to take delivery of all the bits for Rich's home dialysis, like a bit of a kick in the face. I also got a bit teary looking at the TONs of boxes of equipment, thinking about what a completely different story this would be if we didn't have the NHS. Doesn't really bare thinking about. (I know it's not election season but, you know, keep in mind protecting the NHS when the next election crops up, yeah?)
