Aubade

It was a beautiful, fiery sunrise this morning according to social media but I missed most of it.  However, these are the remnants.

It is cold again with no sun.  What a different a day makes.  After my fix of 'More or Less' spoke with J in France where it was due to be 1 deg.  Then out for a walk.  Bumped into L before going round the graveyard, up to the park and home via the Medical Centre.

Since then I've put out the bins, tidied up more clematis and honeysuckle, fixed and refilled a bird/squirrel feeder, talked to 2 neighbours, G next door and J over the road. And I've made calls re College and CC business and started the prep work to do the minor repair on the kitchen wall. 

The sky is dark and gloomy and the forecast snow has just started to fall.  Choir tonight but the hatches will be well battened down.  

Later a long standing friend, S, now in Moray phoned for a welcome catch up.
