With just 5 week's until I run the Blackpool marathon I have upped the distance on my long runs to over 20 miles. From previous experience this is the time that I am most likely to pick up bugs as my body is quite tired and immune system is a bit lower. To prevent this I try and eat lots of fruit and veg either in its natural form or in smoothies.
