The Arrow River

Arrowtown, the tourist beacon 30  minutes from Queenstown and today it was a trip to the past as it was really nice to be there without the usual hordes of tourists, There was just minor hordes of Kiwi's and their friends forming an orderly queue (line) outside our favourite ice cream joint but it still took a while to get served strawberries and cream in a cone please. There is a wonderful walk up this river which we have done in the past but today was just a fun visit and nothing energetic in the 28c temperatures. 
Oh yes and the Pancakes....well that lovely place has gone to be replaced by an Asian restaurant so he went somewhere else and had a Bacon and Egg Butty instead....Sigh.
