Detective Simpson et al!

First day back in obstetrics since Christmas and had a brand new trainee to teach and show around. Had a twin section to do which is always lovely and then spent most the day catching up with various things. Managed to setup the 3 WiFi phones and so had to update all the phone number listings everywhere, but everyone loved having instant access to us, obs team and theatre team. Played around with the new fibrinogen concentrate that has taken me 2 years to get into the trust, and pleased I persevered with it all, then actually made it out the hospital at a reasonable time and home in time for tea. Evening was spent playing my new game that got for Christmas: 'Chronicles of Crime' this was our second investigation and all 4 us absolutely love it. Not normally a fan of integrating technology with board games as the attraction of board games to me is to ditch the electronics and enjoy the tactile nature of moving things around on a table while chatting, but this just works really well. Towards the end we were all proper feeling like detectives and it all came together with us managing to expose a whole crime ring and uncover some nasty criminals. Boys absolutely love the clip on phone VR goggles to search the crime scenes for clues. I can see this being played a lot.
