Quilting

It's quilting in the very loosest sense of the word. Basically securing the patchwork sofa cover to a massive cotton throw by top stitching on some of the squares. It has to be done by hand because a) it's too thick for my machine and b) the whole item is now too big and bulky to carry and lift onto the table where the machine is.

Actually, making small stitches along the lines of pattern in the fabric is surprisingly therapeutic.
