Market Day and other stuff

So excited to go to Akbuk Tuesday market with Graham and Kat this morning. Not just to get out and about, but well I mean just look at the beautiful veggies - and so cheap. Super fresh cheese and other village produce - homemade bread, free range eggs, herbs and spices, local olives - are all also on sale. So that's my meals for the next week sorted. 

A productive afternoon, online teaching. Lazy evening. So, all in all, a good day. Found a really good chill out YouTube piano jazz channel, listening is great, but it makes me miss my friend and ex colleague Deniz in Istanbul and his keyboard skills.... 

For the record: weather wise, mild but overcast and wow!  the wind. Somewhere between 'very blustery' and 'gale force'  arrived mid morning and by afternoon was positively scary at times. Buffeting the trees into submission and rattling the windows....  no damage (as yet) though, thank goodness
