Harakas gorge & beach

Amazing spring like weather today! With a friend we explored a path down a gorge, just south of our village, ending up at an amazing deserted beach where we had a swim and a picnic. Half the day we were in just in T shirts. There were lots of wild irises in flower in the gorge.
Hard to believe this is  January.
Terrible news this evening - Mum has now tested positive for Covid in hospital. She must have been infected in the last few days. No Covid symptoms as yet, but it means she won't be discharged from hospital tomorrow as planned as the 4x daily carers obviously won't take her on till she's free of the virus.
