You're So "Vane"

We took the opportunity of a short break in the drizzly rain to take our daily walk around our regular route.

This is the ichthyosaur on the weather vane on top of the high street clock, which at least provided a bit of colour on a gloomy day. The ichthyosaur has been associated with the village ever since several skeletons of the aquatic dinosaur were discovered in local quarries.
