Hello, Gorgeous

Our dear Blipzen was here at dusk yesterday, again at 7:30 this morning, then returned for round three at 1130am (pictured)! He happily nibbled seeds, nuts, apples and the specialty deer food we bought. I can’t stop him from grazing under the bird feeders in front of the house (concerning because of the nearby road) but his snacks are on top of an old wooden step that’s near the cherry tree, away from the road, and closer to the woods • We’ll finally learn his gender in a few months. If Blipzen is a male he’ll begin growing antlers this spring; otherwise she will become pregnant this Fall. We have much to look forward to! • Back to reality, all eyes are on the news as more details surface about the US Capitol Siege. Investigations are underway by the FBI and DOJ but it’s looking more and more like a purposeful sinister plot vs. a protest gone awry. Allegedly new threats are planned in all 50 states over the next week and a half. Our country has gone mad.
