Really cold one last night! Car defrost took ages.

Out for a long walk along the foreshore with Murdo and his girlfriend (a very full on Staffy called Bella) and her owner Robert. Several miles of very boisterous play fighting, the dogs were nearly as bad. I wore a mask the whole way (not because of being particularly zealous in staying safe but it was so bloody cold it kept my nose warm!). Enjoyed the walk under glorious blue sky.

Stay safe. Dangerous times - although the Scottish news tonight seemed almost upbeat. Apparently our vaccine roll out is going better than expected (they probably expected it to be a complete horlicks like the track and trace programme) but no, it seems to be going swimmingly, and nobody gets into the country without a covid free document.  Also Edinburgh Woollen Mill may have been saved, and Trump is running out of time.

With all this optimistic information I feel quite light headed.
