Helen's lamp

We have had a friendship group for more years than I can remember, and today was Helen's 70th. birthday. Harriet had already made the base to a lamp, and the 12 of us made triangular pieces to go on the shade. All linked to aspects of Helen's life and interests, and amazingly, without any co-ordination, there was no duplication. Then the pieces were then all expertly sewn together before the whole was pulled over the top of the shade. Hey presto. The start of a lockdown cottage industry?
