Rivendell - an Elven town

from Lord of the Rings movie.
Today my daughter and I wandered around Kaitoke Regional Park north of Upper Hutt where the remains of this Lord of the Rings set is situated. Even though it looks old and substantial, it's made of polystyrene and plaster :-))
We dropped the men/boys off at the start of the Remutaka Cycle Trail in Upper Hutt and two and a half hours later met them in Featherston.
