Wedgie
As we drove around a bend this morning, on our way to our new home for the next couple of nights, we came across a dead wallaby being feasted on by this magnificent, young wedge tailed eagle. I have never seen one so close up. Of course, it swooped away to a far off tree as we approached. This is not the best shot ever, but it is a good reminder of the spectacle we had just seen. Pretty mind blowing.
We had lunch in Jamieson; our first civilisation in quite a few days. MrB washed my hair this morning so that it wasn't completely gross!
Then we landed at our favourite camping spot. It was deserted apart from a group of young people (who were very quiet, friendly and considerate). It always feels like coming home when we get to this spot; we know it so well.
