A Titanic Undertaking

I am building this model for my step son, Michael. He was given the kit by a pupil after they had done the Titanic as a project. This was a number of years ago, and the pupil will be leaving Michael’s primary school this year. To keep it realistic, I decided to take as long to build it as the real thing. But now there is a deadline....
But bloody hell, there are hundreds of bits to this thing!
All have to be cut off/trimmed/painted/glued together....so it might take longer than the original!
