Minterne Magna

The Himalayan Gardens here have very kindly been opened for free in January,  by the owners for the enjoyment of  local people. We walked round this afternoon and saw no one . The gardens are so natural like a secret garden with hidden corners. We found Lady Abingdon’s Well which we haven’t noticed before . I love the cheery prayer flags and the view from the Mountain hut . 
Very few birds about but we did see a red kite again as we left

Earlier, the afternoon had taken a dramatic turn,  when Stan, who was whittling with the new set from Jack, cut himself badly . We left him bandaged and feeling queasy but he seems fine now !!
