A favourite tree

Walked Jorgie twice today covering over 5 miles in total.
Didn’t carry a camera but wished I had several times as we surprised a buzzard and a deer in the woods.
On the way home this afternoon I was able to watch the colour in the western sky really develop from just a streak of orange on the horizon to this brief moment of glory which only lasted a few seconds.
Luckily I was passing another of my favourite trees at the same time.
