The sunshine returns

After today's yin yoga, I went for a walk in the sunshine. It was quite a transformation with everything sparkling and crisp. After lunch I went to dig out the car on the street. There was a metre of snow piled up around it from where the snow plough had passed. It took me a half an hour but then two council workmen arrived clearing the pavement with their snow blower. They gave me a hand and I was able to park the car on a cleared part of the road lower down the hill. In the afternoon, we had a French conversation meeting on Zoom and discussed the consequences of storm Philomela on Madrid as well as the old chestnuts of Covid and the consequences of Brexit.
