MOTHER NATURE'S ART
Icicles along the shore of Lake Winnebago at Fond du Lac, WI. A little wind, some water, freezing temperatures and all sorts of Mother Nature's sculptures can be seen along lake shores.
FYI....Lake Winnebago is the largest inland lake in Wisconsin measuring some 60 miles (96.5 km) in length and 10 miles (16 km) wide at its widest. Great fishing and, in the winter, spearing of Lake Sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens) through the ice. They can get REAL big.....females can weigh 200+ pounds (91 kg) and reach 7 feet (2 m) in length. Males are somewhat smaller but still pretty big. The roe is caviar and the meat is tasty.
