A blipping good excuse
My neighbour regularly flies past me when I cycle up Hollins Hill to work. Today he recognised me and pulled along side for a chat. Whilst it was nice to see him, he is a world record breaker, Edinburgh to London Tandem ride, so consequently where I would normally have been slowing as we came towards the top of the hill, the pace was kept up, albeit much slower than he normally rides.
The sun rising as I got to the top and he had disappeared into the distance was a good excuse to catch my breath and my blip for the day!
