This wasn’t what we expected to find when we arrived at the saltwater baths with our visiting grandchildren for a swim this afternoon.

Two days ago I blipped a photo of these saltwater baths showing them full of water and surrounded by the incoming tide.

Today you get to see them empty with a view of the mudflats beyond.

Hopefully they will be full of fresh seawater tomorrow!
