No heating day 2

I’m pleased to say that when I got up this morning, it was about 10 degrees warmer than yesterday and above zero. I have borrowed a wee oil filled radiator and I have my own little halogen heater. I am only heating downstairs, although I move the heater into the hall when I go to bed.

The door between the living room and the hall is firmly closed all day and the cats are not pleased with this arrangement at all. They are too used to having freedom of movement. Hopefully, by tomorrow, the door will be open once more and Sheba will stop trying to rip up the carpet in her bid to get up to my bed.
