What a grrrreat day as we walked down the West side of the Clutha River and back for 14.5 KM and a height change of 23 floors and stopped at our favourite Cafe (Outside of Wanaka) on the way back to guzzle Ginger Beer and Belgium biscuit. The Boss wondered about the origin of the biscuit and  Mrs G was quick to clarify that one. It was a German biscuit until the war. 
Right?  Anyway it was yummy.
This river has Jet Boats running on it and we did spot one which was a surprise given the relatively quiet time in town minus international folk.
